Knappogue Castle in County Clare will be delighted to arrange your wedding reception. Once the seat of the famous McNamara Clan, the castle boasts a proud history dating back to the 15th century.

Extensively refurbished in 1966, you, as bride and groom, will be invited to take a step back in time to experience a wedding reception that is unique on this side of the world. You will be welcomed by the butler and ladies of the castle ~ dressed in mediaeval style velvet costumes ~ to a champagne reception with music played by a harpist and violinist.

The banquet hall dressed with mediaeval style pottery, tall candles and greenery and coloured with runners and bibs which guests wear for the occasion will host your banquet wedding feast.

The butler, with the ladies of the castle, look after your guests during the banquet and, then entertain you with a musical interlude of music, song and dance. This thirty-minute interlude has been specially choreographed, scripted and arranged.
