Anne Buckley Soprano

Born in Dublin, Ireland,
Anne Buckley began her musical training at the tender age of four, taking Piano, Vocal, Ballet and Speech & Drama classes.
Before leaving school, Anne already had secured a four-year scholarship with the RTE Chamber Choir, studying under the direction of Colin Mawby.
Whilst recording weekly for Radio, Anne studied Drama and Singing with Dr. Veronica Dunne and Ms. Jenny Reddin at the College of Music and later continued her training at the Leinster School of Music.

Between 1996 and 2002 Anne has been touring throughout the world. Firstly with Riverdance and then with Michael Flatley’s Feet Of Flames.

Anne works closely with Wedding Song International, who cater for all religious wedding ceremonies in Ireland and abroad. They can supply singers: Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass, for Solos, Duets, Trios, Chamber Choirs or large Choirs. Music is an essential part of the wedding day. Great attention should be paid to choosing the right repertoire.

Anne has compiled a comprehensive list of beautiful songs for the wedding ceremony, for you to choose. If you have a particular favourite song that does not appear on the list, every effort will be made to include it on your special day.

You should always consult your celebrant when choosing repertoire, as very often certain songs can be inappropriate for the ceremony.
