Clíona McDonough was born in Dublin. She began her singing studies with Mary Brennan and then studied with Dr. Veronica Dunne and Ian Barr in London. Clíona has been a recipient of many scholarships and awards over the years. Much sought after as an alto/mezzosoprano soloist, she has performed with Ireland’s leading choral societies and has a wide oratorio repertoire.
